About Melissa
Melissa Eliason, or Mel, as everyone called her, was born on June 1, 1998, in Las Vegas. Mel was sweet, kind, and full of life. She had the biggest heart and everyone who has ever met this beautiful, selfless girl, is heartbroken beyond words. Mel cared deeply and loved passionately. She always helped others without asking for anything in return.
Mel loved animals. In high school, she began fostering dogs for a rescue group in Las Vegas. When she moved to Pennsylvania, she rescued a little pig she named Daisy. The love and devotion Mel had for Daisy captures her character most profoundly--loving, tender, loyal, and innocent.
In loving honor of Mel, we are supporting Barn Buddies Rescue, a wonderful organization dedicated to abused and abandoned farm animals. Please consider donating to Barn Buddies Rescue in celebration of Mel’s life.
